Staying healthy
In today's society, the image
the media projects is one must be "thin" to be
attractive. The fact is, "thin" is not necessarily
"fit" or "healthy". Unless you spend your
entire life starving yourself, chances are you will never be as
thin as the images we see on television, in magazines, etc. These
images are not reality. Most people are average height and weight.
The images you see in the media are the exceptions. Why we as a
society have allowed ourselves to glamorize this image is the
question. Perhaps we will never know the answer nor will we stop
trying to fit this mold. The key here is to realize this falsity
and begin all over again with a positive outlook and a goal of
"healthy living".
"Healthy living" means
accepting your body shape, bone structure and size as individual
and attractive. Once you can honestly do that you will be on your
way to a happier lifestyle.
With proper
diet and exercise, you can look and feel great! Make a clear goal
for yourself to begin anew and become the fit, healthy beautiful
person you are!
Eating Healthy :
Eating a healthy diet doesn't mean
starving yourself. It doesn't mean crash diets and it doesn't mean
eating thing you hate. In fact, eating a healthy diet just means
making smart choices about what you do eat.
Make sure your diet contains enough
nutrients to take care of your daily needs. Your goal should be to obtain as much of your basic nutrients
through natural items as possible.
